Distressed Faerie

This faeryie isn't being kidnapped by a cruel fire breathing dragon. Not at all. She was injured while frolicking in the forest. He's come along to take her to safety, so she can use her unusually fast healing powers!

You might also think that she either looks too big, or the dragon looks too small. In the Faerie Realm I've been invited to visit I have seen Faeries varying in height from 3 to 4 feet. That means they are still quite small, but not as small as those faeries others have reported to have seen! This friendly dragon was, of course, young, and not that big yet.

This is the sixth painting in my new Faerie series. It's painted in oils on an 18" x 24" canvas.
