Mermaid in Rapture

This mermaid was exploring her ocean home and came upon a humpback whale. She is enamoured by the beauty of her world, as we are. They will play together, swimming, jumping and chasing each other as friends do.

This is the nineth painting in my new Faerie series. It's painted in oils on an 18" x 24" canvas.
